Daily, we are all surrounded by technology. And maybe we can do without most of them, but one thing that has become essential to our living is MOBILE PHONE!

We start our day browsing through our Instagram feeds, texting morning messages to friends and catching up on the world. We need them during meals because eating is so boring otherwise! We use them in public places, at work, while driving and even let them intrude our private time.Long story short, we have locked ourselves in the shackles of SMART PHONE ADDICTION!

And with this concern in mind, we have created just the right app to help you find your way out of this addiction without abandoning your phones! This app is your constant guide in tracking your phone usage, letting you know about it, and helping you subside the urge to use your phone. The results are surely surprising!

The Goalspots:
Know the Category of Addict You Are!



Meet Mr Slow and discover the Category of Phone Addiction you lie in, and Beat Mobile Addiction through a fun game of Self-control and Consistency!
Addicted: You seem to be mentally and physically devoted to your phone in a way that if your phone is not within your sight, you grow anxious!
Obsessed: Although you are a step below, your phone still seems to be on your mind at most times. You talk and worry about it as if it's a person!
Dependent: You've grown pretty dependent on your phone for small tasks. It is still your support in most ways!
Habitual: Your phone is your daily companion and has so become your habit. You still cannot do without it for a single day!
Craver: Although you have control on your phone usage but you still eagerly want to use it. Your cravings are still higher!







The "Clock Timer":
See your time slip by!



Float Timer is one of our helpers to get you out of your addiction. It appears on all your apps so that you can see for yourself the time slipping by. Also, it changes color as you reach near your usage limit. Henceforth, every time you launch your addictive apps, this nicely designed ticking "Clock Timer" would appear next to it. You are free to drag and drop it anywhere. We don't block your app notifications or calls like other apps because we want YOU to be the best judge of YOUR time.







The Widget:
YourHour On Home Screen!



The new Widget feature of the YourHour app is a cherry to the cake! The widget on the home screen helps the user in viewing their usage time, unlock counts & set target limit for the day, without having to launch the app again and again. The widget appears even on the lock screen thus, avoiding the need to even unlock your phone!




The Reports:
We Remind you!



YourHour provides its users Daily and Weekly report cards for their app usage. The Daily usage report reviews the usage on individual apps, with app run-time and app launch count for each app separately. Also, it sends a consolidated report notification showing the Top 5 Most Used Apps of the Day. The Weekly usage report will summarise the last 7 days phone usage and unlock count for you. The user can also see how much time he has spent on individual apps and app launch count for each day throughout the week.



The Timelines:
Your Phone’s Routine!



What's Been Cooking is a sequential diary of the whole day round. It shows the entire day schedule of your phone in one go. It goes on recording the time you launched an app, the time you spent there, the apps you switched over, etc. In short, it is the WHAT, WHEN and HOW MUCH of all your apps. However, if you be fixed to your goal, and keep that screen away for more than 10 minutes, that time will be your *HAPPY TIME*! But that doesn't mean you break your vow after 10 minutes! The Race of Detoxification:
A 21 Days Challenge!



Here Mr Slow brings to you The Race of Detoxification! It is a 21 days challenge, where you are required to maintain your daily phone usage below a particular mark, to switch to the next category of, near your detox!
The race starts at your current stage of addiction and after 21 days of STEADY reduced phone usage, you would reach the finish line, i.e. The Next Stage. However, the race gets restart, if you exceed the usage above the mark!
There are 3 lives for you in this race, to save yourself from losing the progress on the track! And, you would have to earn them, once these exhaust!
Depending on your Daily usage, you are rewarded with stars. The lower the usage, the greater the stars. Collect 5 stars consecutively for 5 days to earn a life.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some interesting FAQs about the app! These might help to clear all your queries!

  • The graph depicts your unlock counts for the Past 7 Days in the form of a Bar Chart. So, if it's Wednesday today, the graph goes on to the last Thursday!

  • The Unlock Counts are calculated from the point you install the app. Thus, they appear as zero on first view.

  • The time for which you use your Phone is derived from the system and so, I show you information about the average of past days usage and the day going on! And then I reset it everyday, for you, at midnight, 00:00 hours!

  • My friend, I would come daily at 9:30 p.m. to notify you of your Daily Usage Report and visit you once a week on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. to give you your Weekly Report. However you can always choose the time of your preference (Settings > Set Daily Report Time/ Set Weekly Report Time) for our meetings!

  • Float Timer is one of my helper to get you out of your addiction. It appears on all your apps so that you can see for yourself the time slipping by. Also, my buddy cares alot for you, so he changes color as you reach near your usage limit. By default I have set your usage for individual apps at 30 minutes. Although you can customise it as per your convinience. My buddy becomes AMBER after you reach 70% of your set usage for the app and RED once you cross 100%. You would not try to make him that angry, would you?

  • The Timeline is a sequential diary of What's Been Cooking the whole day round. It goes on recording the time you launched an app, the time you spent there, the apps you switched over, etc. In short, it is the WHAT, WHEN and HOW MUCH of all your apps. However, if you be fixed to your goal, and keep that screen away for more than 10 minutes, that time will be your HAPPY TIME! But that doesn't mean you break your vow after 10 minutes!

  • The Daily Report can be viewed at any time on the Tap That App screen (second right swipe from the Dashboard). It will display the apps you've been using and the time you've spent on each, out of your daily limit. With one tap on the app, you can see the timeline of the app alongwith the app lauch count! The Weekly report is one swipe away from there on the Sneak Through the Week screen. It will show you your weekly average and week long usage for each app on just a tap!

  • Just like my Timer buddy, the app Dashboard also changes color as you reach your Overall Usage Limit. This is also customisable in the Settings > Themes option.
